9th Wonder x Puma

April 23, 2009

Puma has joined forces with North Carolinian, hip hop producer 9th Wonder to design this exclusive sneaker. For those that do not know, 9th Wonder has worked with some of your favorite artists including Jay Z, Ludacris, Nas and Mary J. Blige. As for the sneaker, it contains many details inspired by 9th Wonder and the rap group he is associated with (Justus League). For example, the words ‘Justus League‘ are featured on the inner side panel, while an enlarged 9 rests on the other side. The translucent outsole contains the North Carolina area code (919). Stay tuned for release date info. Props NiceKicks

9th Wonder Makes a Beat for Nas (Video)

April 20, 2009

I am a huge 9th Wonder fan but I really don’t feel this track. Hopefully Nas goes in the studio with him and they make a track on the spot.

Skyzoo – The Power of Words (Mixtape)

April 18, 2009

Skyzoo is one of my favorite MC’s and it is always good to get some more of Mr. S-K-Y-Z-O-O. He always comes correct on his verses and on this mixtape he basicly works with and features all my favorites in the game. Hopefully we can get a DJ Drama less version soon.

Skyzoo links up with DJ Drama & Statik Selektah for his latest mixtape! Featuring Maino, Young Chris, Talib Kweli, Reks, Rapper Big Pooh, Naledge, Wale & EPMD. Production coming from the likes of Jake One, Illmind, Khrysis, 9th Wonder, Dilla and Statik! Props 2Dope

Rapper Big Pooh – The Comeback (Video)

March 31, 2009

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Here is Rapper Big Pooh’s video for The Comeback off of the Delightful Bars album. If you haven’t seen the artwork for the 5 version album go here. I have listened to the I-Tunes edition and it is dope. I also posted a link for Rear View Mirror which was produced by 9th Wonder. If you know the history of Little Brother, then you know that is a big deal. I just hope this track is not about Phonte. We need another LB album soon.
