The Foreign Exchange also known as Nicolay and Phonte of Little Brother alongside an amazing band and singers (Darien Brockington/Yahzarah) – joined forces to rock an intimate LIVE show at the Double Door Inn in Charlotte, NC for MySpace friends. The line gathered as early as 5pm as users were treated to a FREE 99 Coke Bottle upon entry to help cope with the heat. The above playlist features Lark On My Go-Kart, Good Health Freestyle, Blunt Cruisin, As I Em, Be By Myself, Roth Boys (in that order) a Chester French performance and Oren Yoel holding it down for solo. Shouts to Grofoshows on the footage.

The Foreign Exchange dropped by the Sirius XM studios in DC to bless an intimate crowd and radio listeners with a beautiful live in-studio performance. Backed by the talented full live band, Zo! & The ELs, and the soulful voices of Yahzarah and Darien Brockington on background vocals, this was truly a great set. Here is the entire performance, which recently aired on the Sirius XM show.
Leave It All Behind was my favorite album of 2008. I still play it on a regular basis (about every week). This is dope, real dope, it is LIVE. I am still mad I couldn’t see their free show last Sunday in North Carolina. To ease my pain I listen to this over and over. I felt it was time to share this with you to. They even do a few cuts off Connected. As always Phonte has humor throughout the entire show. If you don’t have Leave It All Behind go and cop it now. Tracklist and Download link after the jump… Read the rest of this entry »
